2024 - 2025 CEP School Meals and EBT BenefitsGreetings Parents and Guardians:
Orange Public School is participating in a federal program available to select schools as part of the National School Lunch Program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Our participation means that all students attending the Orange Public Schools are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge throughout the current school year. At Orange Public Schools we're committed to providing students with enriching and impactful summer learning experiences. In Summer 2025, we will offer a variety of in-person programs designed to support remediation, enrichment, credit recovery, and extended learning opportunities.

Our priority programs include:
- High School Credit Recovery – Helping students stay on track for graduation.
- Extended School Year (ESY) for Students with IEPs – Providing essential services to support continued progress.
These programs will begin in early July and will be closed on July 3rd and July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
We are collaborating with district leaders, schools, Community-Based Organizations, colleges, and After School/Summer providers to offer well-rounded academic and enrichment opportunities that include:
- Structured instruction in reading, writing, and math
- Flexible intensity and duration—at least three hours per day, five days a week, for five to six weeks.
- Certified teachers delivering high-quality academic instruction
- Lower student-to-adult ratios for individualized learning
- Enrichment activities in music, art, sports, and community engagement
