School Board Candidate Petitions Now Available

Thinking about serving your community? Consider running for the Orange Board of Education.
The Essex County Clerk's Office is now accepting nominating petitions for the November 2026 School Board Election.
Petitions are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026. Candidates must submit completed nominating petitions to the Essex County Clerk's Office in Newark. Candidates will also need at least 25 signatures from qualified voters to appear on the ballot.
Serving on the Board of Education is an opportunity to help shape the future of our schools, students, and community.
